Amerikaanse belangstelling voor TV-programma in het Van Gogh Huis

Afgelopen dinsdagmiddag was er een filmploeg uit de Verenigde Staten voor opnamen te gast in het Van Gogh Huis Drenthe. Het ging om opnamen voor de ‘Twice as Good Show’, een show, die wordt uitgezonden op Amerikaanse TV-kanalen en die ook op YouTube te bekijken is. Die show draait om de tweelingzusjes Hadley en Delaney die de wereld rondreizen om van alles te zien en te beleven.

Het was een drukte van belang in het Van Gogh Huis; Vier uur lang werd overal gefilmd, geïnterviewd en rondgekeken. En aan het eind van de middag konden Hadley en Delaney ook nog leren ‘schilderen als Van Gogh’.

Overigens gaat de show niet helemaal over het Van Gogh Huis Drenthe. Er is ook aandacht voor Rembrandt, de Amsterdamse grachten en poffertjes. Maar we zijn in Nieuw-Amsterdam blij dat naast het ‘grote’ Amsterdam ook het Van Gogh Huis in beeld is.

American interest in the Van Gogh House Drenthe

Last Tuesday afternoon a film crew from the USA visited the Van Gogh House Drenthe for recordings. These were recordings for the ‘Twice as Good Show’, a show that is broadcast on American TV channels and can also be viewed on YouTube. The show revolves around twin sisters Hadley and Delaney who travel around the world to see and experience everything.

It was very busy in the Van Gogh House; They filmed, interviewed and looked around everywhere for four hours. And at the end of the afternoon Hadley and Delaney were also able to learn to ‘paint like Van Gogh’.
